Travelling by car is the most flexible way to reach Enonkoski. The Manor is located in South Savo and is easily accessible by road. First head towards Savonlinna, from where the journey continues north.

Driving directions from the south and west

When arriving from Helsinki, take Highway 5 past Mikkeli and turn onto Road 14 towards Savonlinna. After Savonlinna, follow the signs to Enonkoski via Road 471. The road winds through beautiful lake scenery, so allow time to enjoy the views. 

Parking at the Manor

The Manor has plenty of free parking for guests, and the parking area is located close to the main building. If you arrive in an electric car, the charging point near Enonkosken Kartano is located at Kirkkotie 1, in the shared parking area of the church and library. Further information about charging points is available on the Lumme Energia website. Charging is subject to a fee, and a 22 kW Type 2 semi-fast charging point is available.

Arriving by train: Connections and onward transport

Travelling by train is an easy and environmentally friendly option. The nearest railway station is in Savonlinna, with direct railbus connections from Parikkala. Parikkala can be reached by long-distance trains operating between Helsinki and Joensuu.

Changing trains in Parikkala

When you arrive in Parikkala, transfer to the railbus, which will take you to Savonlinna city centre or the terminus. The journey from Parikkala to Savonlinna takes approximately 45 minutes. 

Continuing from Savonlinna to Enonkoski

Savonlinna railway station is approximately 35 kilometres from Enonkosken Kartano. You can continue your journey by local bus or taxi. The taxi rank is located next to the station. It is advisable to book a taxi in advance if you arrive late in the evening.

Travelling to Enonkoski by bus

Bus connections to Enonkoski mainly operate via Savonlinna. Long-distance buses take you to Savonlinna bus station, where local services depart towards Enonkoski.
